Sophie R. Anderson-Kelly, a resident of Andover, formerly of Burwell, UK, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday morning, June 15, 2014. She was 19 years old. Born in England, she was the beloved daughter of Kurt and Deborah E. Kelly. Sophie was a wonderful young lady with a lot of energy and love for all she knew. She had the gift of brightening the days of all whom she encountered, especially young-at-heart individuals. With her infectious smile, playful personality, and vibrant nature, she touched the lives of all those around her; not a soul that she encountered could resist her spirit. Her generous, gorgeous heart cannot be measured in mere words, for such a task belongs to a higher power. While Sophie will be missed for many reasons including, but not limited to, her being a daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, or friend, she will, perhaps, be remembered mostly for one thing-she was exuberant! Sophie enjoyed attending concerts, listening to music, watching movies, reading books, taking photographs, socializing with friends, playing with her cats, spending time with her family, and, of course, being the center of attention. She was working two jobs and planning on attending college in the autumn. Besides her loving parents, Kurt and Deborah, Sophie will be very sorely missed by her loving family members Marcus and Raymond Anderson. Also, left behind are Rowena, Ben, Karyn, Richard, Gail, Carole, Benjamin, Hector, Jamie, Emily, Emma and Ross Smith. In addition, she will be missed by other extended family members in Kevin, Gloria, Richard, Edna, Scott, Kristen, Katie, Annie, and Sharde Kelly. A private ceremony has been planned to celebrate Sophie’s life. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home of Andover. Donations in Sophie’s memory may be made to Learn to Cope, P.O. Box 60, Raynham, MA 02767. www.learn2cope.org.
